Gontermann-Piepers (India) Limited, one of the India's largest producers of iron and steel based rolls in India, manufacturing cast and forge backup rolls to over 25 countries, is driven in all it endeavors to provide optimum satisfaction to its customers.

Established in 1966, GPIL was promoted in India in collaboration with Gontermann-Peipers GmbH, Germany. Following the technology of its mother unit that has been since absorbed, the company has been religiously supplying rolls to meet the varied demands of its customers with the modification required.

While working assiduously toward the pursuit of excellence, GPIL has been steadily moving closer towards being a part of the top ten roll producers in the world fostered largely by a dedicated workforce indefatigably engaged in striving for quality products for its customers.

To cater to a wide clientele and their numerous demands and specifications, GPIL offers a mix of products categorized variously under cast rolls, forged rolls, special castings and others. Among cast rolls, GPIL offers a variety of Hi-Cr Iron Roll, Anti Peeling Hi-Cr Iron Roll, Hi-Cr Steel Roll, Indefinite Chilled Double Poured Roll, Cast Steel Roll, Cast Steel Back-up Roll, Spheroidal Graphite Iron Roll and Cast High Speed Roll.

Forged Rolls include Alloy Forged Steel Roll and Forge Steel Back-up Roll while Special Castings include innumerable items ranging from Francis Runner, Runner Blade, Pelton Runner, Wicket Gate, Propeller Blade for Ships, Outer Casing, Front Dipper Wall, Track Link, Bowl Liner, Pump Casing, Branch Delivery, Impeller, Top Ring, Servomotor Casing, Case Compressor Discharge as well as Control Valve, Valve Body, Grindings Rings & Ball, Rolling Mill Castings- Chock, Mineral Processing Mill Castings- Adjusting Ring, Cement Mill Castings-Girth Gear, Sugar Mill Castings- Crown Pinion and Sugar Mill Castings- Mill Head.
